UPPILITTATHU / SALTED PINEAPPLE & VEGGIES RECIPE 

INGREDIENTS 

Water - 3 cups
Rock salt - 2 tsp
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Peeled and sliced pineapple - 1 no (medium size)
Sliced raw mango - 1/2
Peeled and sliced carrot - 1 no
Finely chopped green chilies - 3 nos (as required)

Preparation time : 15 minutes
Boiling time : 10 minutes 
Cuisine : Kerala street food
Coarse : Snacks

Method:

1. Boil some water in a bowl, add salt, vinegar and boil for a minute.

2. Turn off the flame and let it cool down until it reaches room temperature.

3. Take a clean, dry jar, place in sliced pineapple, raw mango, carrot and green chilies.

4. Pour salt water, cover it with a lid, rest for 8 hours and serve.

Boil 3 cups of water in a bowl

Add 2 tsp of salt

Add 1 tbsp of vinegar

Boil for a minute and turn off the flame

Cool down the water until it reaches
 room temperature

Take a clean and dry jar

Slice a pineapple, raw mango, carrot
 and green chilies

Place sliced pineapple, raw mango, carrot
 and green chilies in a glass jar

Pour salt water

Cover it with the lid and rest for 8 hours

Serve
