SPROUTED GREEN GRAM DOSA RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Soaked idly rice - 1/2 cup (2 hours)
Green chilies - 2 nos
Peeled and sliced ginger - 2 nos (1 inch)
Salt - 1/2 tsp (as required)
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Sprouted green gram - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup - 3/4 cup (for blending)

Soaking time : 2 hours
Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
No of dosas : 10-11 dosas
No of servings : 4-5 members
Cuisine : Indian
Coarse : Breakfast

Method:

1. Add idly rice in a bowl, add water and soak for 2 hours.

2. Add green chilies, sliced ginger, cumin seeds, asafoetida, salt and sprouted green gram.

3. Place everything in a blender jar, add water, blend it into smooth batter and pour it in a bowl.

4. Heat a tava, greece it with some oil, pour a laddleful of batter and spread it thinly.

5. Drizzle some oil, cook for a minute, flip over the dosa, cook for few seconds on both sides and serve.

Add 1/2 cup of idly rice in a bowl, add water
  soak for 2 hours

Add 2 green chilies, 2 sliced ginger,
 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds,
1/4 tsp of asafoetida and salt

Add 1 cup of sprouted green gram

Place it in a blender jar

Add water

Blend it into smooth batter

Pour the batter in a bowl

Mix the batter once

Heat a tava, greece it with some oil, pour a
laddleful of batter and spread it thinly

Drizzle some oil and cook for a minute

Flip over the dosa

Cook for few seconds

Serve hot with spicy chutney
