NUCCHINA UNDE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Chana dal - 1/2 cup Toor dal - 1/2 cup Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp Finely chopped ginger - 2 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Grated coconut - 1/2 cup Finely chopped green chilies - 2 nos Finely chopped curry leaves 1 string Finely chopped dill leaves - 1 cup Salt - 3/4 tsp
Preparation time : 20 minutes Soaking time : 5 hours Cooking time : 15 minutes No of servings : 4 members Cuisine : Indian Coarse : Breakfast
Method:
1. To a bowl, add toor dal, chana dal, rinse it well, add water and soak for 5 hours.
2. Drain the water from soaked dal, place it in a blender jar and blend it into coarse paste.
3. Place it in a bowl, add chopped ginger, cumin seeds, green chilies, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
4. Add grated coconut, chopped dill leaves, salt, mix well and shape it cylindrically.
5. Place it in a steaming plate, place it into a steaming pot, cover it with a lid, steam for 15 minutes, cool down and serve. |
