SHEELA FISH FRY RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Red chili powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp (as required)
Ginger garlic paste  - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Corn flour - 4 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 lemon
Water - 2 tbsp
Cleaned sheela fish - 500 grams
Oil for shalow frying

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Marination time : 2 hours
Cooking time : 20 minutes
No of servings : 4 members
Cuisine : Indian
Coarse : Side Dish for rasam rice or sambar rice

Method:

1. To a bowl, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger          garlic paste, corn flour, lemon juice, oil, water and mix well.

2. Add cleaned fish, coat the masala well on the fish and marinate for 2 hours.

3. Heat oil in a tava, add marinated fish, sprinkle some curry leaves and cook for 2 minutes.

4. Cook the fish for 7-8 minutes on both sides until it turns crispy and serve.

Add 2 tsp of red chili powder,
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder,
 2 tsp of coriander powder,
1/2 tsp of  garam masala powder,
 salt and 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste

Add 4 tbsp of corn flour

Squeeze juice of 1 lemon

Add 2 tsp of oil

Add 2 tbsp of water

Mix well

Add cleaned fish

Coat the masala well on the fish 

Marinate the fish for 2 hours

Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a tava and add marinated 
fish

Sprinkle some curry leaves and cook for
 2 minutes in medium flame

Flip over the fish and cook for 2 minutes

Cook the fish for 7-8
until it turns crispy on both sides 

Serve hot
