SHEELA FISH FRY RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Red chili powder - 2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Coriander powder - 2 tsp Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp Salt - 1 tsp (as required) Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp Oil - 2 tsp Corn flour - 4 tbsp Lemon juice - 1 lemon Water - 2 tbsp Cleaned sheela fish - 500 grams Oil for shalow frying
Preparation time : 10 minutes Marination time : 2 hours Cooking time : 20 minutes No of servings : 4 members Cuisine : Indian Coarse : Side Dish for rasam rice or sambar rice
Method:
1. To a bowl, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, corn flour, lemon juice, oil, water and mix well.
2. Add cleaned fish, coat the masala well on the fish and marinate for 2 hours.
3. Heat oil in a tava, add marinated fish, sprinkle some curry leaves and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Cook the fish for 7-8 minutes on both sides until it turns crispy and serve. |
