DILL LEAVES UPMA RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Rava - 1 cup Oil - 4 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Chana dal - 1 tbsp Finely chopped onion - 1 no (big) Slit green chilies - 2 nos Curry leaves - 1 string Finely chopped dill leaves - 1/2 cup Salt - 1/2 tsp Water - 3 cups Grated coconut - 2/4 cup Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tsp Ghee - 2 tsp
Preparation time : 20 minutes Cooking time : 20 minutes No of servings : 3 members Cuisine : Indian Coarse : Breakfast or dinner
Method:
1. Heat oil in a kadai, add rava, dry roast for 3 minutes and place it in a plate.
2. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal and fry until it turns golden brown in color.
3. Add sliced onion, slit green chilies, curry leaves and saute for 2 minutes.
4. Add chopped dill leaves, salt and saute for 2 minutes.
5. Add water, stir well, reduce the flame to low and add rava.
6. Mix well without any lumps and cook for a minute.
7. Add grated coconut, chopped coriander leaves, ghee, mix well, turn off the flame and serve. |
