BOMBAY POORI MASALA RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Boiled potatoes - 4 nos
Oil - 1 tbsp
Kashturi methi leaves - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp
Hot water - 1 1/2 cup
Salt - 1/2 tsp (as required)
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp

Preparation time : 20 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes
No of servings : 4-5 members
Cuisine : Indian
Coarse : Side Dish for poori or chappati

Method:

1. Boil potatoes, mash it well and set it aside.

2. Heat oil in a kadai, add kashturi methi leaves, reduce the flame to low, add all the spices and mix it          once.

3. Add mashed potatoes, salt, water, stir well and let it boil for 5 minutes in medium flame.

4. Add chopped coriander leaves, mix once, turn off the flame and serve.

Boil 4 potatoes and peel it 

Mash the potatoes and set it aside

Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai and
 add 1 tsp of kashturi methi leaves

Reduce the flame to low,
add 1 tsp of red chili powder,
1 tsp of coriander powder,
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder,
1/2 tsp of garam masala powder and
1/8 tsp of asafoetida, 

Mix it once

Add mashed potatoes

Add salt

Add hot water

Stir well

Boil it for 5 minutes in medium flame

Add finely chopped coriander leaves

Mix once and turn off the flame

Serve
