CAPSICUM RICE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS FOR ROASTING AND GRINDING
Chana dal - 1 tsp Urad dal - 1 tsp Coriander seeds - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp White sesame seeds - 1 tsp Bedige chilies - 4 nos Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
INGREDIENTS FOR TEMPERING
Oil - 2 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Curry leaves - 1 string Finely chopped onion - 1 no Chopped capsicum - 1 no Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Salt - 1/2 tsp (as required) Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp Cooked rice - 3 cups Lemon juice - 1/2 Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp Salt - 1/2 tsp (as required)

Method:
1. Heat a pan, add urad dal, chana dal and fry for a minute.
2. Add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, bedige chilies, white sesame seeds, grated coconut, mix once and turn off the flame.
3. Cool down the mixture completely, place it in a blender jar and grind it into coarse powder.
4. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and let it splatter.
5. Add curry leaves, chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes.
6. Add chopped capsicum, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt, ground powder, saute for 2 minutes and turn off the flame.
7. Add cooked rice, salt, chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice, mix well and serve.
