RAVA DOSA RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Rava - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/3 cup
Wheat flour - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp (as required)
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp 
Whole pepper - 1/2 tsp
Grated ginger - 1/2 tsp
Finely chopped green chilies - 2 nos
Finely chopped curry leaves - 1 string
Water - 3 cups (to soak rava)
Finely chopped onion - 1 no
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Water - 1 1/2 cup (To dilute rava)
Oil for toasting

Preparation time : 15 minutes
Resting time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 45 minutes
No of dosas - 10 dosas
No of servings : 4 members
Cuisine : South Indian
Coarse : Breakfast

Method:

1. Take a bowl, add rava, rice flour, wheat flour, salt, cumin seeds, whole pepper, grated ginger,                   chopped green chilies, curry leaves, water and stir well.

2. Rest the batter for 10 minutes, add chopped onion, coriander leaves, water and dilute the batter.

3. Heat a tava and make sure it is nice and hot.

4. Stir the batter once once and pour it carefully since it is in liquid form.

5. Drizzle some oil, cook until the turns crispy, take the dosa from the tava and serve.

Add 1 cup of rava, 1/3 cup of
rice flour and 2 tbsp of wheat flour in a bowl

Add salt, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, whole pepper
grated ginger, chopped green chilies
 and curry leeaves

Mix well

Add 3 cups of water

Stir well

Rest the batter for 10 minutes

Add chopped onion and coriander leaves

Add 1 1/2 cup of water and dilute the batter

Stir the batter well

Heat a tava and make sure it is nice and hot

Pour a laddleful of batter
carefully since it is in liquid form

Drizzle some oil

Cook for 3-4 minutes in medium flame

Cook the dosa until it turns crispy

Take the dosa from the tava

Serve hot with coconut chutney
