SOFT AND SPONGY DOSA RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Idly rice - 1/4 cup Dosa rice - 3/4 cup Urad dal - 1/4 cup Chana dal - 1 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp Salt - 1/2 tsp Sugar - 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Take a bowl add dosa rice, idly rice, urad dal, chana dal, fenugreek seeds, rinse well and soak for 6 hours.
2. Place the soaked rice and dal in a blender jar, add salt, sugar, some water and grind it into smooh batter.
3. Pour the batter into the bowl, rinse the blender jar with some water, pour it into the bowl and mix once.
4. Cover it with a plate, ferment fot 8 hours and mix once.
5. Heat a tava, greece some oil, pour a laddleful of batter, spread it slightly, drizzle some oil, cover and cook for 2 minutes in medium flame.
6. Once when the dosa cooks spongy and soft, take off the dosa from the tava, place it on a plate and serve hot. |
