MORINGA LEAVES POORI  RECIPE

INGREDIENTS FOR GRINDING

Drumstick leaves - 1/2 handful
Green chilies - 2 nos
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1/4 cup (for grinding)

INGREDIENTS TO PREPARE DOUGH

Wheat  flour - 2 cups
Salt - 1/2 tsp

Oil for deep frying

Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 30 minutes
No of servings : 4-5 members
Cuisine : South Indian
Coarse : Breakfast

Method:

1. Clean drumstick leaves, wash well and place it in a blender jar.

2. Add cumin seeds, green chilies. water and grind it into smooth paste.

3. Take a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, ground drumstick leaves paste and mix well.

4. Add water in intervals, knead well and form a dough.

5. Divide the dough into small portions, greece the surface with some oil, place the dough on top, pour      a drop of oil and spread the dough evenly.

6. Heat oil in a kadai, make sure the oil is nice and hot, drop the dough gently into the oil.

7. Slightly press the dough on one side and flip over the poori to the other side.

8. Drain the poori from the oil, place it in a bowl and serve hot.

Clean the drumstick leaves

Wash the drumstick leaves and drain well

Place it in a blender jar

Add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds

Add 2 green chilies

Add 1/4 cup of water

Grind it into smooth paste

Add 2 cup of wheat flour in a bowl

Add 1/2 tsp of salt

Add ground drumstick leaves paste

Mix well

Add water in intervals

Knead well and form a dough

Divide the dough into small portions

Greece the surface with some oil, place
 the dough on top and pour a drop of oil
on top of the dough

Spread the dough evenly

Heat oil in a kadai and make sure
 the oil is nice and hot

Drop the dough gently into the oil

Slightly press the dough on one side

Flip the poori to the other side

Cook well on both sides 

Drain the poori from the oil

Place the pooris in a bowl

Serve hot with gravy
