MANGO UPMA RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Oil - 3 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Chana dal - 1 tsp Urad dal - 1 tsp Sliced onion - 1 no Curry leaves - few Green chilies - 5 nos Grated raw mango - 1/2 cup Salt - 1 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Water - 2 1/2 cup Roasted rava - 1 cup
Preparation time : 10 minutes Cooking time : 20 minutes No of servings : 2 members Cuisine : Indian Coarse : Breakfast
Method:
1. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it splatter.
2. Add chana dal, urad dal and fry until it turns golden brown in color.
3. Add sliced onion, green chilies, curry leaves and mix once.
4. Add grated mango, salt, turmeric powder and mix well.
5. Add water, stir once and bring it to good boil.
6. Reduce the flame to low and keep stiring while adding the rava .
8. Cook for 2 minutes in medium flame, turn off the flame and serve.
