MUSHROOM PEPPER FRY RECIPE
INGREDIENTS FOR GRINDING
Whole pepper -1 tbsp Fennel seeds - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
INGREDIENTS FOR TEMPERING
Cooking oil - 2 tbsp Ghee - 1 tsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Dry chilies - 2 nos Crushed garlic - 7-8 nos Curry leaves - 2 strings Finely chopped onion - 2 nos (Big) Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp Chopped capsicum - 1 no [Medium size] Chopped mushroom - 300 grms Salt - 1/2 tsp Water - 1/4 cup Chopped coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Preparation time - 15 minutes Cooking time - 20 minutes No of servings - 3-4 members Coarse : Side dish Cuisine - Indian Method :
1) Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and chop the mushrooms.
2) Chop capsicum and onions.
3) Add all the grinding ingredients in a blender and blend them into a fine powder.
4) Heat oil and ghee in a kadai, add mustard seeds and crackle them.
5) Add chili, garlic, curry leaves and fry them into a nice golden brown in color in medium flame.
6) Add finely chopped onions and saute the onions into nice brown in color
7) Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes in medium flame.
8) Add chopped capsicum, saute for about 1 minute, add chopped mushroom and saute for 1 or 2 minutes.
9) Add the grounded powder, mix well and cook for 2 minutes in medium flame.
10) Add water, cover and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.
11) The mushroom has being cooked well, sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve hot.
