BABYCORN 65 RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Baby corn - 200 grms (18 Nos) Medium size Water - 5 cups Salt -2 tsp
INGREDIENTS FOR BATTER
Maida flour - 2 tbsp Corn flour - 3 tbsp Rice flour - 1 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Raw chili powder - 1 tbsp Garam masala powder - 1 tsp Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste -2 tsp Finely chopped curry leaves - few Salt - 1/2 tsp (As required) Water - 1/2 cup Lemon juice - 1 tbsp Oil for deep frying Curry leaves for garnishing
Preparation time : 30 minutes Cooking time : 30 minutes No of servings : 4 members Cuisine : Indian Coarse : Snacks
Method :
1) Peel the skin of the baby corn and rinse once.
2) Boil water in a kadai, add salt and boil once.
3)Add baby corns, mix once, cook for a minute and drain the baby corn from water.
4) Place the boiled baby corns in a bowl and set aside.
5) In a bowl add corn flour, maida, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt, lemon juice and mix well.
6) Add water and mix well without lumps.
7) Add the boiled baby corns and mix well.
8) Heat oil in a kadai, add the baby corns and fry in medium flame for 5 minutes.
9) Flip on the other side and fry till it turns nice and crispy. Drain the baby corn from excess oil, fry some curry leaves, garnish and serve. |
