APPLE  HALWA

INGREDIENTS

Grated apple - 4 nos
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Sliced almonds - 10 nos
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder/ellakai podi
/ellaichi powder - 1/4 tsp
Food color -2 pinches
Milk khova - 2  tbsp


Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 30 minutes
No of serving : 3 members
Cuisine : Indian
Coarse : sweet


Method :

 Cut the apples de-seed and grate them and 
cook it immediately if not  the apples turns brown

Heat ghee in a pan, add grated apples

Cook the apples on a low flame till 
they are nicely thickened  

Add sugar and let them dissolve

Add food color and mix it nicely

Add cordomom powder and khova and mix well

Add chopped badam

Keep on stirring till the halwa separates the pan

Apple halwa is ready to be served

Take all the ingredients

Take washed apples

Chop the apples into halves

De-seed the apples

Place them in a bowl

Grate the apples 

Melt 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan

After the ghee melts

Add the grated apple

Mix well

Cook the apples till they are nicely thickened

Add 1/2 cup of sugar

Let the sugar dissolve nicely

Keep on stirring ,cook on medium flame

Add food colour

Stir well

Add 2 tbsp of milk khova

Mix it nicely and the halwa should be
 nicely thickened

Add cardamom powder

Mix well

Add chopped almonds

Keep on stirring the halwa till it separates the pan


Place them on a bowl and ready to serve
