APPLE KEER

INGREDIENTS

Apple - 2 nos
Milk - 500 ml [1/2 liter]
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Condensed milk - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1 tsp
Cardamom powder [elakkai] -1/2 tsp
Cashew - 5 nos
Dry Grapes - 5 nos

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
No of serving : 4 members
Cuisine : Indian
Course : desert



Take all the ingredients
Intialy peel the skin
of the apple
Take finely chopped
 apples

 

Lets cook now lets get
started

Take a pan and heat 
 some ghee

Add in some cashews
and raisins

Fry the nuts till it turns golden
 brown in colour
Place them in a cup
 to cool 


Now take chopped apples
 in a pan

Saute for few minutes
Cook the apple in a mashy 
consistency

Place aside in a plate
and cool completely

In a pan heat some milk

Bring it to a boil
Boil for 10 minutes

And the milk should be  
reduced to half

Add sugar


Add condensed milk
Again boil for 3 minutes

Turn off the flame the milk
 is to be cooled completely

Now add cooked apple

Mix well

Add cardamom

Add  the fried cashew
nuts and raisins

Set in the refridgerator
for ten minutes

Serve it cold

Enjoy
