MINT RICE RECIPE INGREDIENTS FOR SAUTEING AND GRINDING Oil - 1 tsp Garlic - 4 nos Ginger - 5 nos (1inch) Green chilies - 2 nos Tamarind - a small piece Roughtly chopped onion - 1/2 Cleaned mint leaves - 1 handful Cleaned coriander leaves - few Water for grinding - 1/4 cup INGREDIENTS FOR TEMPERING   Oil - 1 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Urad dal - 1 tsp Chana dal - 1 tsp Groundnut seeds - 2 tbsp Sliced  onion - 1/2 Turmeric powder  1/4 tsp Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp Salt - 1 tsp +1/4 tsp (as required) Water - 1/4 cup Cooked rice - 4 cups Preparation time : 15 minutes Cooking time : 20 minutes No of servings : 3 members Cuisine : Indian Coarse : Lunch box recipe Method: 1. CHAKOTHA SOPPU SAMBAR RECIPE INGREDIENTS Toor dal - 1/2 cup Green chilies - 5 nos Peeled garlic - 10 nos Roughtly chopped tomatoes - 2 nos (big) Chakotha spinach - 1 bunch (small) Turmeric powder  - 1/4 tsp Water - 4 cups Salt - 2 tsp (as required) INGREDIENTS FOR TEMPERING Oil - 2 tbsp Mustard  seeds - 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Finely chopped onion - 1 no (medium size) Preparation time : 20 minutes Cooking time : 30 minutes Size of the cooker : 5 litres No of servings : 3-4 members Cuisine : Karnataka Coarse : Side Dish for white rice or mudde Method: 1. Take chakotha spinach and clean it well. 2. Add toor dal in a pressure cooker, wash well, add green chilies, garlic and finely chopped tomato. 3.
