KARUVEPPILAI GARLIC GRAVY

KARUVEPPILAI  GARLIC  GRAVY Onion - 1 no Tomato -1 no Garlic - 2 nos Curry Leaves - a hand full  Tamarind - small size Gingelly Oil - 4 Tbsp Mustard Seed - 1Tsp Siragam [cumin seeds] - 1Tsp  Chili Powder - 4 Tbsp Salt - 1 Tbsp [to taste]   Take all the ingredients Take your mud pot kadai with some  oil Add garlic Fry the galic Fry for 5 minutes Now the garlic has turned into  golden colour Add  curry leaves Fry until crispy Cool for about 5 minutes In the same mud pot  add some  mustard seed and jeera Add  finely chopped onions Saute for sometime Add  tomato Saute for sometime Add  salt Now the tomatoes are mashy Add  chilli powder Mix well Add some water Boil for 10 minutes Add tamarind water Mix well Add fried curry leaves and  garlic in a mixi jar Grind it into a fine powder Add the powder into the gravy Mix well Boil again for five minutes Now it is ready to serve  with rice  

Onion Bonda

ONION BONDA INGREDIENT  Onion - 4 nos sliced Finely chopped green chilies - 2 nos Curry leaves - 2 strings Coriander leaves - few Salt - 1 tsp (as required)  Fennel seeds -1 tsp  Chili powder - 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp Gram flour - 1 cup Rice flour - 1/2 cup Hot oil - 2 tbsp Water Oil for deep frying Preparation time : 25 mins Cooking time : 20 mins No of Servings : 4 members Cuisine : Indian Coarse : Snacks Method : 1. Take a bowl, add sliced onon, spice powders and mix well. 2. Add rice flour, gram flour, water, hot oil and mix well. 3. Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into small portions. 4. Drop the bonda into the hot oil, fry until it turns golden brown in color on both sides. 5. Drain the bonda from the oil and serve hot.
